Situated about 10 km from Worcester on the Robertson road, guests are greeted by one of the valley's most well known landmarks.The farmstall, overflowing with its plump orange pumpkins, points the way to the turn-off and sets the scene for a 'magical' winelands experience.
Memel Guesthouse is located on a farmstead that dates back to 1857 and was built on the original site of a water mill.

The river may have dried up and the mill-ground grain long been forgotten, but the historic building has been lovingly refurbished to create a comfortable "home from home'! Original clay walls and thatched roof enclose a guesthouse that preserves its charming and authentic Cape Dutch heritage.
Memel is a working farm, surrounded by vineyards, but also home to a host of farmyard animals. Sheep, pigs, donkeys, geese and ducks delight the children.
